All Hatz engines are backed up by a factory warranty. Warranties are fully comprehensive and cover parts, labor and other related items.
With an extensive authorized distributor network, staffed with factory-trained technician to undertake Hatz engine warranty repair, our goal is to provide the best in class after-market support. Our technical support staff is trained to resolve service issues, as well as assist with warranty work and completion of forms.
The warranty starts from the date the engine enters service. On receiving a piece of equipment powered by Hatz, the owner/operator should register the engine for warranty to commence.
Certain terms and conditions apply to our warranty – these are available from Hatz and your Hatz distributor – and our warranty is subject to satisfactory use of the engine, and service in-line with that recommended for the engine.

With Protect+ Warranty, Hatz offers the ability to extend coverage up to 60 months or 3,000 operating hours for Air-Cooled engines and up 60 months or 5,000 hours for the H-Series. After the Standard 2-Year Warranty, the Protect+ Warranty offers multiple year or hour options, providing extended coverage to reduce the risk of unexpected expense for covered components and repairs.
Protect+ conditions include*:
- engine registration when the machine is new
- all maintenance only at authorized Hatz service partners
- perform all maintenance according to Hatz published intervals
- only genuine Hatz parts used during standard warranty and extended coverage
